Refactoring the store…
Herdbell is a tiny Mac app that keeps an eye on Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Antigravity. When one needs you, your shortcut opens a bar right over your work to approve, reply or hand off.

Agents
Herdbell adds hooks to each agent's settings. It never signs in and never calls a model.
A timestamped backup is saved before any change. Disconnect removes only Herdbell's hooks.

Herdbell has no database and no account. It listens to your agents through their own hooks, and everything it keeps stays on this Mac. You stay in full control.
- Your chats, commands and files are never sent anywhere.
- The only things it checks online: your license key, and whether a new version is out.
- Disconnect any agent on the Agents page and it stops listening.

Hi, I'm Herdbell.
I keep an eye on your coding agents,
so you don't have to.
Meet your agents
Connect the ones you use. Herdbell never signs in to anything.
Herdbell adds a small hook to each agent's settings and saves a backup first. Nothing leaves your Mac.
Call me from anywhere
One shortcut opens me right at your cursor.
Press your shortcut…
Try it now — press it anywhere.
You're all set.
- No agents connected yet. Add them any time from the bell in your menu bar.
- Press ⌃ ⌥ Space anywhere to open me.
- Everything stays on this Mac. No account, no API keys.
It's live. Click the Herdbell icon in the menu bar, or press your shortcut.
Simple. Watches them all.
Let Claude Code refactor the store. Ask Codex for a rate limiter. Have Cursor polish the pricing page, and Antigravity tidy the docs. Then grab a while they work. When one needs a yes or a reply, Herdbell lights up your cursor. Answer it from one bar and get straight back to your code.
Every agent gets a face. Read the roomin one glance.
Each agent is a little bot. Its face and color tell you what it's doing, and the bell in your menu bar tells you when one needs you. Go on, change what they're doing.

Antigravity
Three moments. That's the wholeapp.
Herdbell stays out of sight until an agent needs you, then gets you back to your own work in seconds.
Your pointer glows
A soft rim in the right color says something needs you. Sound and notifications stay off unless you turn them on.
Your shortcut opens the bar
Herdbell opens right where you are: a search bar, with every agent one arrow away.
npm install?Codex · apiAnswer, and get back to work
Allow a command, send a reply, or hand the chat to another agent. Then Herdbell gets out of the way.
Small app. Everything you need.
Built for people who run more than one agent at a time, and would rather not babysit any of them.
Every session, one list
Agent, project, status, what it's doing and for how long, all in one place and always up to date.
- Needs permission
- Waiting for reply
- Finished
- Something broke
A glow, not a ping
Your pointer lights up in the color of what's waiting. Point at one to see it.
Codex wants to run
npm install express-rate-limitApprove or deny
Decide in one click. Risky commands ask twice, and if you're away, the agent asks you itself after 5 minutes.

Connect in one click
Herdbell finds the agents on your Mac and connects through their own hooks. Your settings are backed up first.
Lives in the menu bar
It joins the Dock only while its dashboard is open. Its eyes go wide when something needs you.
Hit a usage limit? Keep goingin another agent.
Herdbell reads the chat on your Mac and writes a short handoff: the goal, what's done, what's still open, the files and the commands. Paste it into another agent and carry on, without explaining the project again.
- 1Pick the chat in Herdbell and press ⌘H.
- 2Herdbell puts the handoff together, in about a second.
- 3Copy it, and paste it into the next agent.
Runs entirely on your Mac and never calls an AI model. The handoff is only as complete as what the chat and project contain.
- Ship the marketing site and pricing page.
- Hero, features grid and footer
- Stripe checkout route in /api/checkout
- Next.js App Router, Tailwind, no UI kit
- Lifetime plan only, no subscriptions
- Navbar overlaps below 380px
- Build the pricing cards
- Wire "Buy" to /api/checkout
- Run the e2e tests
Four agents. One calm workday.
Codex wants to install a package
An amber glow near your pointer. Your shortcut, one click on Allow, and you are back in the docs.
Cursor has a question
"Wire up checkout next?" You tap a quick reply without leaving your editor.
Claude Code runs out of usage
You hand the chat off, paste it into Codex, and the frontend keeps moving.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Do I need to log in to my AI accounts or add API keys?
No. Herdbell connects to the agents already installed on your Mac through their supported local hooks. It never asks for credentials or API keys.
Which agents are supported?
Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, and Google Antigravity at launch. More integrations are planned.
Will Herdbell mess with my agent configurations?
No. Herdbell keeps your existing settings and backs them up before adding its hooks. You can disconnect an agent at any time.
How does Context Bridge work without an AI model?
It pulls the goal, completed work, decisions, issues, and next steps out of your local session transcript and project files, then formats them as a continuation prompt. How complete the prompt is depends on what that data contains.
Does any of my data leave my Mac?
No. Session data stays local. Herdbell uses the network only to validate your license and check for updates.
How much does Herdbell cost?
Herdbell is a one-time purchase with no subscription: $24.99 for 1 Mac, $69.99 for 3 Macs or $109.99 for 5 Macs, with lower launch prices for the first 20 buyers (see Pricing). It includes lifetime updates and a 7-day money-back guarantee.
What do I need to run it?
A Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later, and at least one of Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor or Google Antigravity installed. Herdbell finds them for you during setup.
Will it slow down my Mac or my agents?
No. Herdbell is a native Mac app that uses very little CPU and memory (about 1% of a core when idle in our testing). It only listens to the small messages your agents already send, and never calls an AI model, so it uses none of your tokens.
What happens if Herdbell is closed?
Nothing breaks. Your agents carry on with their own prompts, as if Herdbell were not installed. When you open it again it picks up where you left off.
Can I approve commands from Herdbell for every agent?
For Claude Code, OpenAI Codex and Cursor, yes: Allow and Deny work in Herdbell. For Google Antigravity, Herdbell shows the request and you approve it in Antigravity itself. Replying when an agent finishes works for all four.
How does the license work on more than one Mac?
A key works on as many Macs as you bought (1, 3 or 5). To move it to a new Mac, deactivate it on the old one in Settings → License. Herdbell checks your license about once a week, with a 14-day grace period if you happen to be offline.
How do updates work?
Herdbell checks for updates automatically and installs a new version when you say so. Every update is signed, and only updates signed by Herdbell are accepted. Updates are free for life.
How do I disconnect an agent or delete my data?
On the Agents page, turn an agent off and Herdbell removes only its own hooks from that agent's settings. In Settings, Delete all my data forgets every chat, the activity log, attachments and drafts. Your settings and license stay.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Every purchase has a 7-day money-back guarantee. If Herdbell isn't right for you, email support@herdbell.com within 7 days of buying and you get a full refund.
Is it a subscription?
No. You pay once and own it.
